Jess Smith

Jess joined Brandon Capital in 2019.
Before joining Brandon, Jess was a Senior Associate patent attorney with FB Rice in Sydney and Melbourne. In her earlier, scientific research career, Jess worked on projects focused on the development of small molecule drugs for treating cancer, viral diseases and blood disorders and held post-doctoral positions in industry (Avexa Limited), academia (Monash University) and at the CSIRO.
Jess is currently a director of Sicario and Vaxxas.
Jess has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from James Cook University, a PhD in medicinal chemistry from the University of Adelaide and a Master of Intellectual Property Law from The University of Melbourne.
