Ellie holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering and a Master of Science in Business Design from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden where she specialized in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering. Her master’s thesis, conducted at the Khademhosseini Laboratory within the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology, focused on the use of mechanically stimulated stem cells to repair infarcted heart tissue in regenerative medicine.
Professionally, Ellie has global and local biotech and healthcare experience, sectors including Business Development for Tibria, a Swedish startup developing a diagnostic device for the dairy industry, Project Manager at Australian Clinical Trials Alliance, and Program and Communications Executive at Exopharm and most recently Event and Facility Support Manager at Jumar Bioincubator.
Ellie has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Company Directors Course, gaining comprehensive knowledge in governance, decision-making, legal obligations, risk, strategy, and finance.
