Prior to this, Rana was the Head of Innovation for Global Animal Health Organization, Argenta. She has international experience in pharmaceutical, contract manufacturing, contract R&D and innovation, having lived and worked in the US for four years before returning home to New Zealand at the end of 2020. Rana held roles in the field of animal health ranging from engineering design and build, creating and building project management capability, new business and client relationships through to a global role developing and selling/licensing innovation assets.
Rana has a strong scientific base and technical understanding with experience in new product commercialisation, marketing and licensing IP. She has a passion for the customer experience and her skills are focused on ensuring the company’s brand is held in the highest regard throughout any business relationship. Her key skills include business management and leadership, P&L management, business development, business strategy and change management, and Project Management Office (PMO) set-up and delivery.
Rana has a Bachelor of Engineering – Chemical and Materials (Honours) and a Masters of Engineering – Chemical Engineering (Honours), both from the University of Auckland.
